Adams Point

The Adams Point Neighborhood is made up of the triangle bounded by Harrison Street, MacArthur, and Grand Ave on the north side of Lake Merritt.

The name Adams Point, and Adams Street, comes from the name of one of the early landowners in Oakland, Edson Adams. Today the neighborhood is the densest area of Oakland made up of a diverse and vibrant community.

Adams Point is represented on the Oakland City Council by both District 1 and 3.
